The Clonakilty Distillery in West Cork

The distillery in Clonakilty is located in the centre of this West Cork town. Excellent distillates have been produced here since 2019. A special feature of the Clonakilty Distillery is its warehouse. This is located above the Atlantic cliffs of Galley Head on the West Cork coastline. This means that maritime influences will have an effect on the stored whiskeys. These influences will become particularly apparent in the near future. While current bottlings still contain whiskeys from renowned distilleries, self-distilled whiskey from the cliffs of Clonakilty will soon be released.
