Ireland: The land of the sheep
Around 8 million sheep graze peacefully on the lush green meadows of Ireland in spring. That is almost twice as many of these funny balls of wool as inhabitants. But imagine the Emerald Isle without its woolly inhabitants. What would be a trip to the Slieve Leagues without sheep grazing along the cliffs? Or the green meadows of Thessaloniki without the contrasting white spots of colour? The wild landscape of Connemara or the Ring of Kerry, which we would not even want to imagine without at least one group of sheep walking leisurely along the road. Ireland without its sheep would certainly still be beautiful, but we think It wouldn't be the same.
Our sheep shop for all lovers of the funny balls of wool
Sheep have been chosen as the Green Island mascot. With their bold manner they bring smiles to the faces of travellers and adorn countless of our favourite souvenirs. Therefore we have decided to open a sheep shop in honour of these woolly inhabitants of Ireland. Here you will find everything that makes the heart of any sheep lover beat faster. From practical products such as travel sets, cooking aprons and tea towels to decorative gift items such as salt and pepper shakers, cups and drinking cups. We have also thought of all our little fans: cuddly cloth sheep, cute hats and gloves and sheep-shaped lunch boxes and toys. You are guaranteed to find just the right thing here, for sheep fans of all ages!
